Chelton Synthetic 3D Vision is the name is glass panel EFIS systems, and it is the backbone of the reliable, redundant IFR panel. The HITS (Highway In The Sky) has to be seen to be believed as the Chelton system actually draws a series of boxes for you to fly though making your "Go To" destination, IFR or VFR approach amazingly accurate and simple. Flying approaches could not be easier or safer. Coupled to the auto pilot the plane automatically flies IFR approaches, holding patterns, missed approaches, ect. All systems updates are easy with a SmartCard data card. The Crossbow 425EX is the GPS for the Chelton system and uses the WAAS system for accuracy.
Lycoming 260HP IO-540-D4A5 S/N 0721 was "zero timed" factory overhauled at Aero Sport Power. Dual Slick Mag provide electronic ignition. The Airflow Performance fuel injection system has been tuned to perfection. The Electronics International EMS (Engine Monitoring System) is simply the best at engine monitoring, and data recording for reviewing engine performance later on your PC. The "Leaning Screen" assists in running LOP (Lean Of Peak) for maximum fuel efficiency on cross country trips. Fuel burn can be as low as 8-9 GPH for "low & slow" flying watching the sunset on a warm summer evening or just flying "no where" . Need to get somewhere fast? 24 squared and you'll be moving at nearly 200 MPH at altitude, yet the RV-10 lands at approx 65 MPH. Constant Speed Blended Airfoil Hartzell Propeller The MT prop governor controls the propeller with smooth precision. Dynamically balanced, the engine and prop run as smooth as silk though the entire operating range.
PPG Dodge Viper Red with white background. "Stunning" is the word I hear most, "WOW" is the second. There is a nicely done light blue & silver airbrushed stripe separating the two. The custom dark gray leather seats are very comfortable making 3-5 hour trips a pleasure. The cloth headliner add that touch of class & finished look. There is even custom wood accents for a real "automobile" interior feel.
